Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 in the making?

Image- TENAA
Xiaomi had officially unveiled the Redmi Note 4 and the Note 4A in November last year, but sources suggest that Xiaomi is already making it's successor. A unknown Xiaomi device has passed through China's TENAA certification site, which could probably be named the Redmi note 5 or the Redmi note 4X.

The certification site suggests that the phone is has a 5 inch display along with a 4000 mAh battery, same as the older Redmi phones.

We hope that smartphones of the future would see new designs, because according to the leaked pictures, it just looks like a slight change to the pre existing metal unibody in the Redmi note 3 and 3S.

The change in design should be taken into considerable thought by Xiaomi because they're loosing a lot of market share due to new players like Oppo and Vivo, if Xiaomi doesn't do anything "new" to its phones, we could see a great decline of Xiaomi in the future.

The dimensions of the handset are 139.24 x 69.94 x 8.65 mm and it supports both TDD and FDD LTE spectrum. Xiaomi recently announced the Redmi Note 4X in China, with specifications similar to that of the Redmi Note 4, introduced here in India.

With the launch of the Xiaomi Redmi note 5, we can probably hope that the then older Xiaomi Redmi note 4 would launch in India.
