The much anticipated OnePlus 2 which started shipping not a long while back and are sorry for what they have done.
The company apologized for messing up the launch of the OnePlus 2.
Also, OnePlus told that it would be 30-50x easier to get invites of the OnePlus 2 which hardly anyone thinks so except for the people who got an invite. Also, they started shipping the phone in large numbers a month later from the initial targeted shipping date.
Adding to it, becuase of a glitch in their software, customers got OnePlus 2 invites, but alas! Those invites were fake ones!
Many people, ( including me ) got those fake invites which seemed to be 100% genuine. The only way to identify it as fake was when the link got redirected to Aliexpress.com, many people would have understood that it is fake but probably many would have got conned in this scam. Now, to make its customers a little happy, OnePlus on their forum said
"Over the past few days, we’ve been discussing how we can make it up to our fans for the delay. One of the best ideas we have is to open sales up for an hour sometime later this month or early next, to make the entire process a bit more painless for would-be OnePlus 2 users. We will need to look into production and operations to determine when this is most feasible. We’ll keep you posted."
